We were approached by Killowen Farm and Bord Bia to update their natural yogurt brand that was badly in need of modernisation to bring it into a contemporary space in a very competitive retail market.
Killowen’s ‘Single Origin Dairy’ farm presented us with a very unique starting point on where the brand should go within the category. The fact that all of the dairy used in their yogurts travels ‘metres not miles’ from the herd on their farm is a very positive aspect of the brand.
We commissioned an illustrator to create a stylised representation of the farm landscape and the ingredients that are used in each of the yogurts.
The outcome across the range of yogurts speaks for itself. A highly impactful brand that successfully portrays it’s natural makeup and has a truly unique personality on shelf.
Another major part of reviving the brand was relaunching their website. We completely redesigned the site with specially commissioned photography to show the natural daily workings of the Dunne family on their dairy farm.
Showing the special relationship between the dairy herd and the family was a very important part of the brand revamp. We wanted to tell the story of Farm and the family who have run farms for over nine generations.
