Brennans Bakehouse

Brennans are Ireland’s leading bakery brand and an Irish food icon. They approached Greenhouse to develop a brand proposition and packaging design for their new range of craft breads. We worked together to strategically look at developing a brand that gives all the intrinsic Brennans brand values but is appropriate for this sector of the bread market.

We developed the name Brennan’s Bakehouse and the new identity captures the styling of the Brennans brand mixed with a more authentic and vintage look and feel
speaking of the brands history.

A clever ‘B’ loaf device was developed to sit with the logo and the copy, ‘Good Bread Raised Right’, was a summation of our core brand proposition.

It was important to show as much of the fantastic products so we developed a craft tray and bag system with a distinctive roundel containing all the brand and product information. Strong colours were chosen to make the products stand out on shelf.

The tone of voice is a very important element of this brand and has been developed across the pack and on the back of pack detour.

The famous Joe Brennan signature is used to sign off these quality products.
